Well, we are live on the web and relevantstudents.com has come to life. As I write this I am adding info to the web updating the calendar, making changes BUT the bottom line is that we are now live and looking forward to being able to have a central online space for people to connect with our ministry. We are an online generation, we live online, stay connected online, think online so it just makes sense for the gathering place of relevant student ministry to not be enclosed in a building but rather and online world that is open 24 hours a day. We hope the site is helpful to teens and parents in Clarksville. We know it is hard to keep up with what is going on but this is a easy way to stay in touch. just a few details...

Podcasts...
Yes, we will be podcasting all our REMIX gatherings so you can catch up if you miss a week and for others to check out our ministry. We are also going to be podcasting updates, and training stuff for Life[group leaders]. Podcasts will be up soon.

BLOG and other online jank...

For parents...
I know it is hard to believe but we do believe that parents are the greatest influence in a teens life so that is why we have our parent connection area, look for updates there for your mom or dad. We just want to help them be able to know what is happening at REMIX and with RSM.

We are right in the middle of getting relevantstudents.com ready to launch. This web site is going to be the connection hub for our ministry. We know you guys and gals out there really do not care about connecting online! (just kidding) We know you are all connected with myspace and facebook and all that stuff. We hope the web site is the place where we can have online gathering place that is up and ready 24 hours a day. When the web site gets up and running you will be able to point your friends to the site and allow them to check out US before ever coming GCC or the REMIX. The site should be ready to go within the week. Coming soon to your pc...

We are taking a few weeks off to get ready for the launch of REMIX on August 12 at St. B Christian Church. There is not student gathering this week or next as we get our stuff ready for the launch. 2 weeks the REMIX begins...

One more week at St. Mary's

It is hard to believe but this is our last week for our student gathering at St. Mary's Catholic school. The GCom student ministry has been meeting there for the past several months and this is our last time to be there. We hope to see you there on Sunday night one more time this summer. 6 PM, hope to see you there!

On August 12 we launch the REMIX at St. B Christian church. Yes school will be back, yes you will be sad but maybe we can help you get through the school depression you will encounter in a few weeks. relevantstudents.com is also about a week away from launching live on the web...pod casts, a live blog feed, all the info you can handle will be up all the time. We are stoked with the look. It will launch soon!

DATE change!

One more week closer to our launch of REMIX. Can you say excited, I can, I am, and God keeps opening more and more doors as we get closer. This pics comes from a few weeks ago, it is blurry but it has been cool to see students from Grace Community come together each week. Our hope is that REMIX will become a place where students from different backgrounds, churches, denominations, and schools gather together to see God for who He is each week. Our prayer is that REMIX might be an environment where teens can rethink who God is and why God has put them here on planet earth. It will be amazing to see what God does.

We have moved our launch date back to August 12 - you will then be in school! Yes, I know hang in there. We might just have some new relevant t-shirts for you August 5 so you can show it off at school and guess what? they are free!

Back at St. Mary's July 8

Man, we are stoked to be back at St. Mary's at 6 PM for the student gathering. Hope you can make it. Hope everyone has a great 4th of July and no one got shot by a bottle rocket. We are still making plans for our new gathering called remix - we met with video people about screens and projects and all that jank this week. We hope when you come for the first time you will catch a small glimpse of how passionate we are about seeing teenagers come together in Clarksville and begin to live out their faith in Jesus Christ. August 5 will be here soon!
