REMIX at ROSSVIEW - Daniel Doss Band concert this week!

We are so excited that the Daniel Doss Band has released their first CD...I just got a text from Pastor Ron and this is what it said... I saw the DDB CD at Wal Mart Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

Well, that says enough. DDB is in Wal-Mart, that is crazy. It is cool to see Daniel lead us each week at Grace Community and now it is wild see his gift of song writing and worship leading revealed for others to check out. WITH THAT SAID...this week REMIX is going to meet at Rossview High for the DDB cd release concert. 6 PM at Rossview, make plans to connect with us there at the show. It is going to be an incredible night. Doors open at 5:30 if you want to get up front.

Well, I surprised you last week and had Pastor Ron speak, thanks to Ron for leading at Remix. That podcast will be up this week for you to check out. On March 9 we launch a new series called THE CROSS that will lead us into Spring Break.

Daniel Doss Band CD release! March 2

We are in the middle of a Holiday weekend but it was a great night at REMIX and so great to see so many of you. If you missed it, yep, we will have it on the podcast. For week 2 of the Good Fight series we looked and why we have conflict at home and what can we do about it. We are the ones who have to choose to connect with our parents. There are always going to be fights but maybe we can change our perspective and fight for a connection with our parents instead of against them. On March 2 we will be moving Remix to Rossview High for the Daniel Doss Band CD release concert. The new CD drops on Feb. 26 and we get the gather on March 2 to hear the band go for it. We have heard the CD and it is amazing, you are going to be blown away. We are so blessed to be led by Daniel each week at Grace so get ready for this CD. we are fighting the GOOD FIGHT...

Yes we are fighting he good fight for the rest of this month. If you missed REMIX last night make sure and go to the podcast on Wednesday and download it from iTunes. The good fight we are fighting is the one for a relationship with our parents. Maybe just maybe we can find the courage to take this challenge on. It was great to hear from different lifegroup leaders that many of you talked openly about how hard this is. Hopefully in the next three weeks we can discover that this is worth it. God can give us the strength to navigate the waters of this thing called FAMILY.

You may have heard...I broke a board with my bare hand last night. YES, I am a ninja. Thanks for Taylor Hughes who helped get me ready and gave me that sweet karate suit to wear. Yes, go ahead and imagine the glory of me in a karate suit. It was amazing! We did the karate thing up front so that we could talk about things WORTH fighting for and the spirit of Chuck Norris was with us.

the GOOD FIGHT series launches this SUNDAY!

It was so great to see all of you at our REMIX SUPER SUNDAY for that SUPER BIG GAME that the Giants won. Thanks to all of you that brought food, and for the great crowd we had. It was so incredible to hang out with so many of you and just relax. It was a great night!

We have put our 08 events up on the website. We have some wild stuff coming this year and we want you to plug in and experience it with us. Retreats, Camps, Mission trips all coming at ya. Look on the event tab of the web site and check out our flow for 2008. Of course we will have more info up as we get closer to the events.

This week we launch into an amazing series called the GOOD FIGHT. No, we are not talking about karate, wrestling or MMA; we are going to look at why we have to fight to have a good relationship with our parents. Why is it so hard to connect? Why is there a divide between us and our parents? For the next month we are going to try to figure some of this out together. ALSO, get ready for some sweet surprises at REMIX this month.
