what is going on...

Ok, we have been blown away by REMIX this year. It was so great to see so many of you with us last night. How you responded in lifegroups and in the gathering was incredible. Last night was week 2 of the IF ONLY series. We all have those regrets that haunt us, that never let us go. If we ignore regret and do not name it, identify it, we will never move beyond it. If you missed REMIX check out out podcast on itunes. Next week we will finish the IF ONLY series and discover how God can heal our regrets and help us to move forward.

if only...

Have you ever done something, said something, went somewhere and after it was all over said to yourself, "if only I had...". Yea, we all have. We all deal with regret and last night at remix we just tried to identify those things we regret. When we do not deal with regret, we are destined to face it in the present and future. For the next 2 weeks we are really going to try to figure out how we deal with regret and why God even allows us to face it. It is going to be an amazing series.

You do not want the next REMIX (August 27). Mike Grayson, no you have not met him, will be leading the band that night and we dive into week 2 of our IF ONLY series, AND one more thing we have week 2 of LifeGroups. Yea we launched our lifegroups last night. If you missed it, no problem. You can get in a group anytime during the year and if you bring a friend they can go to group with you, NO PROBLEM. Next week when you get there just go to the lifegroup table and get registered for your group and we will help you know who your leader is. Real connection happens in lifegroup, you need lifegroup. We love our gathering each week but real life happens in lifegroup. Plus our lifegroups do some fun stuff like go to the movies, out to eat, paintball, and random trips to places you can only imagine.

first night back at REMIX...

Night one at REMIX this fall was amazing. To everyone who was new Wednesday night., welcome in! We said this last night and you can hear it on our podcast, REMIX is a place where we come together each week to rethink what it means to follow Jesus Christ. We live together and we follow after Jesus together. The band, the tech team, our leaders, all of you who came were amazing and it was great to just be together. Our team can not wait to connect with you more and see what God does in all our lives. Please let us know you are out there by adding us on myspace and joining the relevant group on facebook.

Lifegroups start next week! Yea, we will be launching lifegroups then and you can read more about how that works here at www.relevantstudents.com . Really connection happens in group. Life happens in group. We love our gathering but group life is so incredible. If you did not make it this week you can sign up Wednesday August 20 for a group and get to know your leader.

Next week we start a new series called IF ONLY. We are going to try to figure out what we do with all the mistakes we have made. Why do we struggle with guilt when God offers a new start? Why do mistakes hurt so bad? Get ready for a great series...

we are back AUGUST 13...

It as been an amazing summer but we are so excited about what God is going to do in our lives this fall at relevant. Big news here...REMIX is back August 13 and the new time is 7-8:30 each Wednesday. We know t is in the middle of the week so make plans to get your homework done and come on over to St. B Christian before 7 because right at 7 we will start each week. We have some cool surprises coming that we do not want to let out of the bad yet so come on for week one and hear the plan. It is going to be an amazing fall, so make plans to be with us August 13.

The new relevant shirts are out and you can pick yours up on Sunday morning at GCC. They are FREE. Yes they are free, we just want you to wear them and tell people about GCC and relevant at the school you go to. Pick one up Sunday!
