This week PRAY 08 was an amazing event. It was incredible to see students from all over Clarksville united as one to encounter God. Thanks to all of you from relevant that came out to the event. PRAY o8 launched a 30 day prayer experience called the prayer experiment. What will happen in our life if we spend time with God every day? REMIX is back Oct. 1 and we will finish our last 2 weeks of the WE series. We have had so many first time guests at REMIX so thanks to all of you who keep inviting. Our hope is to create and environment each week where you feel excited about inviting other people. Thanks for supporting us each week and thanks for letting us invest in your life.

OPERATION SERVE is this weekend. Lets go out and serve this community and display God's love! It will be a wild weekend!

PRAY 08 this week!

This week REMIX goes on the road. Yes there will be NO REMIX this week at St. B Christian because we are supporting a city wide prayer event for teens called PRAY 08. Pray 08 is about one thing and that is gathering teens together from all across Clarksville to pray. The goal is simple and night will be amazing. Our hope is that each of you who have connected with relevant and our weekly gathering REMIX will come and unite as we try to create a sacred space to connect with God. Parents, the event will go from 6:30 - 8 PM and we will do everything to make sure we are done on time. Pray 08 happens at Hilldale Baptist Church on Madison Street and email if you need further directions at michael@gcomchurch.com.

WE - series launch

We launched into a new series called WE this week. I have never met a teenager who likes being left out and alone. I have never met a human who enjoys loneliness. Why has God made is to crave relationships and connection? Last night we looked at the fact that God himself saw that man should not be alone so He created woman. Genesis 2, if you want to check that out! We need each other. We need community. We need to belong. I hope you will take this journey with us by podcast or at REMIX and discover what life looks like when we have meaningful relationships around us.

It has been incredible to meet so many new people the past few weeks. For you first time quests with us, we have new relevant shirts on the way. We hope they are here this coming Wednesday night for you. Sorry we ran out of our second order on these things. We hope we can connect with you where you live. ADD us PLEASE, we are begging we know!

CRAVE is our fall retreat and you will hear more about it in the coming weeks. The dates for CRAVE are Nov. 1-2 and we are headed to Chattanooga for one weekend where we can simply go after the 2 things that are most important in our lives. Authentic relationships and God. Those things matter. It is going to be an amazing retreat so get ready for CRAVE!

What an amazing week at REMIX! We finished our IF ONLY series and had the chance to land on and celebrate the fact that Jesus can redeem our past mistakes and use them for good. Is that wild or what? God can take our terrible choices and use them for something good. This is the God we serve. This is why we have this thing called relevant student ministry. We hope you can see this God is real and really wants to connect with you. If you missed last night make sure and download the podcast and check it out.

This week we launch a new series called WE. For the next month we get the chance to learn what it means live life together. Why do we gather? Why do we need other friends who follow Christ? Why is living life alone a bad idea? Why do we even need this "church" thing? It is going to be an incredible series so make sure and make it out for week 1.
