CRAVE is this weekend!

REMIX last night was amazing. This week we worked through week 2 of the GodView series and the idea that our GodView determines our expectations and response to God. The God we serve and follow does not change when times are hard. He is the same! Our response to Him is built upon how we view Him. I am so glad so many of you were there to experience this idea with us and talk about it in Lifegroups! Next Wednesday We finish our GodView and then we get to dive into a 2 week series on relationships. Why do we do the things we do when we get around other people?

CRAVE 08 is this weekend. We can not wait to hang out with all of you going! Please pray God will give us protection and really invade our space as we go after Him for 2 days this weekend. CRAVE is going to be wild. See you in Chattanooga!

GodView, is going to be amazing

We dove into the GodView series this week and asked the question, what is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about God? This is our GodView. Our set of beliefs about God that provide the base for how we live our lives. Everyone has a GodView and the next 2 weeks we just want to check and see is what we think is reality or just perceptions that keep us from who God is. CRAVE 08 happens Nov. 1-2 and a ton of you are going with us on our fall retreat. we still have a few spots open and we want you to come on and sign up. Crave is the one weekend in the fall when we can really get away and connect with friends and with God. Godview starts this week...

We start a new series at remix this week and I really think the next week could shape us all in ways we never imagined. What comes to mind when you think about God? Who do you believe God is, and how do you believe God interacts with you personally and with your world? These are questions we are going to be addressing in this three-week series - Godview. You see, every one of us has a Godview, and that Godview affects everything we do. A.W. Tozer said, "What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." Think about that! This is going to be a great series!

It was amazing to see you guys at REMIX last night. The REMIX band hit it out of the park covering We are One by Switchfoot. Mike Grayson is doing an incredible job leading the remix band. We are so blessed to have these guys lead us each week. Last night we looked at the idea that we understand God better through community. We need each other and that leads us t0 understand God better. The podcast is up if you missed it! Next week we get to look at what happens when conflict enters into our groups. It will be a great week because conflict always shows up in the middle of community.

CRAVE 2008 is on the way. We are 30 days away from our fall retreat and we hope you can go.
