We all have friends, we all need friends, but friendship can be complicated. Last night we looked at the idea that the friendship was meant to be about GIVING not just GETTING. We tend to look at friends and rate them on what they do for us. How do they help us? What can I get from them? That kind of friendship is not what God is calling us toward. Jesus revealed the idea of serving our friends. Of showing up in their life ready to give them our time, attention, and loyalty. The question this week is will you serve those you are closest to?
