God is not our vending machine, He is what the Bible calls our Heavenly Father...He wants a relationship with us. We know that is a different take on prayer and we hope you will be here for the entire series. Can U Hear Me series starts NEXT WEEK!

WOW, last night was amazing as we finished off the RELEASE series about forgiveness. Our prayer is that many of you will move forward with the process of forgiveness. Forgiveness is not a formula it is a process. Do not hold back, go for it. Next week we start a new series here at REMIX. Here is a short summary of where we are going...BE there for the start of the Can U Hear Me series...

Doesn't it seem like there should be more to prayer than just our typical "Help me, bless me, protect me, give to me" prayers? That prayer has to be more than just us making our requests known to God--because doesn't God already know everything that's going on in our lives? It's like there's some secret, some mystery we have to unlock so we can "get through" to God. If we can just say the right words, maybe we can break the code and get a "yes" to all our requests. But what if prayer was something much bigger than that? What if prayer went beyond us getting what we wanted, and became how we grew closer to God's heart? What if prayer wasn't just about changing our present situation, what if it was about changing us?

Letting Go

When we talk about forgiveness usually we immediately remember someone who hurt us! Not the offense but rather the person who harmed us, cheated us, took from us. This week at REMIX we looked at the concept of letting go. Forgiveness means I let go of my right to be right. I forgive because God has forgiven me but I still have to let go and trust God to fix the broken pieces of the relationship. This week you will have so many chances to let go...you also have chances to let go of past hurts. The question this week is WILL YOU?

2010 off to an amazing start!

2010 started with a bang! What an amazing night of REMIX. Thanks to everyone for coming out when it was so cold and snow was on the way. Being together was so great, seeing you all engage God was incredible. Last night we started our Release series centered on forgiveness. We learned last night that we can forgive because we have been forgiven! We can give forgiveness because God revealed what true forgiveness was through Christ. If you missed last night check out our podcast on Itunes and hear the talk. Parents...the parent update is live each week here on the website, we just want to keep you in the loop.

MERGE 2010 is coming up February 19-21. MERGE is our winter retreat, so get ready, get pumped, and get ready to have an amazing weekend.

2010 here we come!

REMIX is back! Hello 2010, we are here and our team at relevant student ministry can't wait to see what all God does this year. 2009 was amazing but we are thrilled about what is next. we are excited about the future because we were amazed at what God did in your life last year. We start a new series this week, it is a new year, and we hope you make a new start and come experience REMIX for yourself this week. We have a few surprises coming your way in 2010 that we are already working on, so buckle up and get ready.

Our Exit One REMIX has a new location! This week we launch that gathering at Exit One in a new facility.
