Merry Christmas from Relevant...

Our entire team is so blown away by how God worked in 2011. Thanks to everyone who has plugged in at Relevant through The Mix and Remix. Thanks for allowing us to invest in your lives. Thanks for allowing God to shape and mold your life. We are grateful for the past year and excited about 2012. We want to tell you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We will be back in 2012 on January 11 and we have some big things planned.

New Series..Nashville Preds...Dodgeball...BAM!

So great to see everyone pack it out at The Mix and Remix this week as we started our new series Redefined. When Jesus showed up on that first Christmas he redefined everything for all of us. This fall has been incredible. Watching what God has been doing every week at The Mix and Remix has been amazing. Watching small groups unite as one has been wild. Seeing God change lives like only He can has been next level. I don't think I will ever forget what packing 270 teens and adults at St. B looks like after Remix United went down. Thanks to everyone for making this fall one our team will never forget.

Thanksgiving is coming up so we will be taking a holiday break. Enjoy NO SCHOOL, turkey, and being with your family. We have so much to thank God for. See ya on November 30 as we start a new series called Redefined. Happy Thanksgiving!

REMIX united is Nov. 16 @ St. B Christian

Crave is this weekend and we still have a few spots open. Register on the website to hold your spot before it fills up. CRAVE is our fall small groups retreat where we take everything to the next level. We are praying for God to do amazing things in our lives.

Next Wednesday night (Nov. 16) is our fall REMIX UNITED. It is at our St. B Christian location from 7-8:30. This is a night where we unite as one. Worship as one. Connect as one. This we we started our series called Picture Perfect talking about how we manage life at home. Sounds like it should be simple but teens and parents have always and will always face conflict. Learning to deal with the conflict is such a big deal. We hope the next few weeks helps you move forward to better relationships at home.

Last night we wrapped up the NEARSIGHTED series (you can get a recap on our parent update page here on the site). This coming week we start a series called Picture Perfect. We all have families and we all wish they were perfect. They're not so we are going to spend a few weeks talking "home" and how we deal with it...make it better...help it make sense.

Nearsighted series starts this week!

There are so many things in life that immediately feel good and look like great ideas but in the end just wreak havoc. In the Nearsighted series we are going to check out that idea and work through some issues we all face in life that look appealing in the moment but cause lots of problems down the road. We can't wait to see how God works during this series!

We just released info about 2 big events this fall. TRANSIT is a one night middle school event happening on November 4 and CRAVE is a retreat for students in 8th-12th grade and those dates are Nov. 11-13. Ask your parents, mark the date, and look for more info the first week of October!

We started the GROW UP series this past week and talked about the idea that growing in our relationship with God means we grow in our trust of Him. new series starts Sept. 7...GROW UP

This week we start a new series here at Relevant called Grow Up. Do you ever wish they could just grow up? Maybe you yearn for the day you will get your driver's licenses. Or graduate from high school. Or go away to college. You don't really want to be a kid anymore. You want to be seen as  and adult. You want to feel like your moved on, grown up. We all know how that happens physically, but what about spiritually? How do we know we're growing in your faith? How do we know that we are moving forward in that area of our lives? The good news is that God is just as passionate about growing our faith as we are. Join us for the Grow Up series this week!

The Mix and REMIX are in full motion!

We had an amazing start to the year at both THE MIX and REMIX and we can't wait to see what all goes down in the coming year. Our goal is simple...we want to help teens become growing followers of Jesus. Very simple, very direct and at the same time it drives us to do what we do. Chill Nights @ RELEVANT

With summer coming to an end and school right in front of us we thought we need to help teens in Clarksville do one thing...CHILL! Chill Nights are just simple gatherings where we connect, have fun, and chill. This year we are doing a middle school and high school chill night to end summer. They are both free and open to both OneChurch and Grace Community groups! Come on out.

REMIX UNITED is June 22!

It has been an amazing summer so far. NEXT and BIGSTUF were simply amazing. Now we hope to keep tracking with you over the summer as we have three REMIX UNITED nights. The first of the three comes this week on Wednesday at 7PM and our venue is Northeast High. Our simple goal is to come together and celebrate. We hope to connect with you. Summer 2011 is here!

Hope everyone is having an amazing summer so far. NEXT middle school camp was amazing and we leave for BIGSTUF high school camp next week. Can't wait to see how God works with our high school students. We have sold out high school camp but you can get on the waiting list.

Our first REMIX UNITED is coming up on June 22 at Northeast High School at 7PM. This is just a night in the summer we want to gather teens together from all across the city. We have an amazing night planned. Invite your friends. The other dates for the summer are July 6 and July 27. Enjoy summer 2011!

Thankful for the Class of 2011 and Summer 2011 is here!

So thankful for the class of 2011. This week at REMIX we had the chance to honor 19 seniors. as those students lined up across the stage I was so amazed at the impact this class made as high school students. we asked these students to serve now and they took the challenge! Thanks Class of 2011.

We are close to filling up Bigstuf camp but we do have a few spots left. We also have room in NEXT middle school camp. One last call...sign up today!

This has been a wild year for Relevant Student Ministry. This week we close out our first year of having a separate service for middle and high school students. Thanks to everyone who made this possible. Our goal was to reach more teens and guess what, God made that happen. We hope you will come on May 18 to celebrate with us as we wrap up the year and honor our seniors who are graduating. Also don't forget to sign up for camp today, spots are filling fast!

The Mix and Remix update

Due some crazy weather hitting Clarksville today and some flooding issues at our venue in St. B we are canceling The Mix and Remix this week. MERGE 11 = amazing

Wow, MERGE 11 was simply amazing. It was so incredible to see so many of you allow your life and God's plan merge together in one weekend. We saw 7 teens take the step of baptism. We saw small groups come together in amazing ways. Thanks to all of you who came out for the weekend. // It is March 1 and we are already thinking about summer at RELEVANT. We want to go ahead and release 2 big dates for this summer. Here are our dates, get ready for an amazing summer!

Bad weather! THE MIX AND REMIX will be back next week!

We really hate to cancel THE MIX and REMIX but tonight we have to shut it down due to weather. We checked things out and way to many side roads and parking lots are full of snow and ice. We did not want to get a bunch of teens out just to face refreezing tonight so we canceled services. We will be back next week and hope the snow will stay away.

We are really excited that MERGE 2011 is right around the corner. We will start registration later this week so look for update info on Facebook and the website! MERGE is FEb. 25-27 and it is going to be incredible!

New series at RELEVANT / write.rewrite

We are all drawn to great stories - whether that's on the big screen, small screen, in a book or elsewhere. But we may be completely unaware of one simple truth - that our lives are a story as well. The decisions we make every day are shaping the plot. The things we do, believe and trust determine what is being written. And for many of us, the story we are scripting could be so much more if we let God write, or even rewrite, our story. It's the story we long for, the one our hearts truly desire. Don't miss a week of this series!

2011...RELEVANT is back!

We are so pumped that REMIX and The Mix are back in 2011 starting this Wednesday night January 12. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year but we miss you and we are ready for you to get back to Relevant. This week we start a new series called Write.Rewrite and we think it will really help you process how to start this new year out in the right direction. Make plans to be with us Wednesday night.
